The Paul Soquena Junior Golf Scholarship Program

Started in 2016, Mariano-Soquena Foundation, Inc. Founder & CEO, Gino Soquena, with the help of the Santa Barbra Golf Course Board of Directors, created the Paul Soquena Junior Golf Scholarship Program which supports 20 children in Santa Barbra, Iloilo, Philippines.  Founder & CEO, Gino Soquena sponsors 10 children and the City of Santa Barbra, Iloilo sponsors another 10 children.  Each “Scholar” receives a monthly stipend that is used for schooling and is granted access to lessons, practice, and to play golf at the Santa Barbra Golf Course at no cost.

The William “Kalani” Mahoe Memorial Academic & Sports Scholarship Fund

Named in honor of the late William “Kalani” Mahoe, the William “Kalani” Mahoe Memorial Academic & Sports Scholarship Fund is the latest addition to the family of programs under the Mariano-Soquena Foundation. Created by Mariano-Soquena Foundation Founder & CEO, Gino Soquena, to honor the person that took a chance on him and gave him the opportunity to become the person he is today. The William “Kalani” Mahoe Memorial Academic & Sports Scholarship Fund will award Academic & Sports Scholarships to youth from the State of Hawaii and whose parents are members of a Union.

The Amor E. Soquena Scholarship for Central Philippine University

Every year, one incoming student chosen from surrounding high schools will receive a scholarship for full paid annual tuition to Central Philippine University for the duration of their studies every year until they graduate.

Good Shepherd’s Fold Orphanage Guimaras

The Mariano-Soquena Foundation, Inc. supports the Good Shepherd’s Fold Orphanage Guimaras through annual donations of school supplies, books, computers, clothes, shoes, food, etc. to the children of the orphanage.
